and this is to commence my new section! my trip to the singapore science centre!!!!

haha...this is to conclude my trip to the zoo. basically, i was happy to be back to the zoo, back with Nature and the animals...but i guess i was a little sad to see most of the animals there either looking very sad, bored, ill and unkempt. but i guess the singapore zoo is far more better than zoos else where...haiz, itz the prob w lack of zoo-keepers again, and the lack of zoo-keepers who really love animals...most of the existing ones look like they are only there for a living...and i guess the zoo cant do much abt the space allocated to each enclosure alrd...haha...yup, at the end of the trip, i bought this cute little lion to remind me of the experience i had at the zoo. i named him Leo...hugging him every nite to sleep...haha

suddenly a strong gust of wind came...and i had the weirdest experience ever in my whole life!! there was this shower of heliconia pollen and it was dazzling... the whole place seemed so surreal all of a sudden...comparable to a shower a cherry blossom flower petals...but it came to a point when i realised tt i was covered with pollen grains and tt i was breathing alot of them in, tt i told myself to leave as the amt of pollen was really overwhelming...haha... but it was an eye-opener indeed!

haha...these were the first batch of animals i saw near the zoo entrance....macaws... and yesh, u have to pay to have a foto with them...hmm, looks like the zoo really noes how to run a business...

If my heart belongs with animals and Mother Nature, then it was home-coming for me. i went to the zoo yest...after so many years of being away from 'home', i was moved to tears on my journey there. Even the bus journey was so full of pleasant scenery and greenery!! i now declare bus service no. 138 my fav service no!!!! haha, sorry bus 31!! haha....

hmmm...im not too sure about this building thou...itz stated '1 Finlayson Green' on its facade n i went to search for its building name and i found out that itz 'Redhill Industrial Estate"...hmmm...haha, guess thstz the real name ba..haha...but an industrial estate in form of a skyscraper is indeed new..haha

yupyup, raffles place mrt station...haha....tyhis building here is the famous asia insurance building..one of the pioneer skyscapers in singapore...haiz. first-batch tings are always famous for a short period...after a while they juz lose their shine....as u can c here, there is expression of horizontality, and ,ohhh that concrete......

well, the weather was good bcos of the cloudy sky but the fotos turned out dull as a result of the poor lighting..haiz...wat a pity...the sky looks fine like tt...but later tt day, the sky was practically obscured...haiz....this is the site for the Sail at Marina Bay...can s all the construction gg on at the back with the huge project information board in the centre

this is republic plaza...one of the taller buildings and more prominent ones in the cluster next to the mrt station...i tink the idea was sth like that of the 'wedding-cake' skyscapers u find in New York...but it was manifested in a more elegant manner....

hmmm...yup, this was my urban hiking trip route tt i took...well, i cant really rem the exact sequence of the place i reached but this shud be abt 80% accurate...ahahahaha...i've got poor memory...well, as u can c, im walking in circles again...but itz partly bcos i din map out my route accurately....hmmm...but basically i passed thru all these wonderful places...haha...as u can see, i kinda toured only on the western bank of the Singapore river....this side of the river has always been my favourite, thou the other bank has many interesting places too...well, i guess itz juz tt urge to mingle with those white-collars and wonderful-ties...haha...well, u pple noe wat i mean rite...hmmm...looks like i missed out a few spots...haiz..muz make up for it the next time...

yay!!! todae was a great day for me! on this very eventful day, NYJC Pugilistic held its Pugilistic Extravaganza, for the first time i tink...a performance to behold...but a boy fr duman sec fell down fr high up the pole while do a lion dance performance, fell on his head n bleed...hope hez ok...got to meet sherry!!! yay!!! my bestest best fren fr NYJC. We used this event in NY to meet up..haha...cos really hard to find time to do catching up for both of us...act, she wanted to pass me my b'dae present...(coming next mondae!! yay!!!) so juz b4 meeting her, i bought a present for her in return as well, as i din manage to get her one on her b'dae which was long over...the meeting after so long was a very heartfelt pleasant moment for me, for her as well...itz always so gd to see an old fren..one saying goes 'absence makes the heart go fonder'..this is all so true...we exchanged presents n she opened hers first bcos i got a sth really huge...haha...itz act a huge tigger plushie..act, i din noe wat to get for her in the first place, but thinking abt tt she got no beloved one to hug recetly, maybe a huge stuff animal can keep her company thru lonely nites...=)...she was so thrilled at the sight of it...haha...still can rem tt face of hers when she pressed the tigger into herself...after tt, i opened my present..it was a pretty small but meticulously wrapped present, alongside a hand-decorated card...the present was a night cream...sherry said tt she has personally used the product n found it to be effective so she decided to buy one for me as a b'dae present. well, maybe for others pple, the first tot is tt the present was quite ordinary, i mean, toiletries, they are juz sth to use everyday...but for me, i tink it was a very meaning present, bcos it shows sth...it shows tt she is concern abt the everyday life tt i lead, itz like a husband buying some toilet paper, if u wud, for his wife...itz so basic yet so impt, n i feel tt this express his love more than if he were to buy a diamond ring or sth...when i received tt night cream as the present, i immediately felt tt my frenship w sherry has reached another level...we are so close tt we buy toiletries n stuffs for each other, not juz those teddy bears n materialistic stuffs...i was really touched, i was really touched...thx, sherry!!! u r my best fren always!!!

wheeeeeee!!!! we are gg to the wheelock place!!! i saw this book in borders i really feel like buying: The Egyptian Book of the dead!!! my gosh!! i tink it really hard to get hold of such a book, cos i dun tink the contents within the egyptian book of the dead are widely published. the book includes the translation of the hieroglyphs n also the pronunciation of the symbols...a few books on hieroglyphic reading n writing oso caught my eye, but they are juz too expensive...i have a $10 voucher at home so i guess i will settle on the book of the dead n come back to purchase it a few days later...of cos, it is in my best interest that within these few days the book remain in tt bookshop, i hope no one buys it, cos itz the last copy...awwww...

i emerged fr underground, out of the tombstone, as if i was reborn n incarnated...dun understand? well, the takashimaya building looks really like the traditional chinese tombstone, so when u take the escalator up into the open space at the walk way, itz almost like u got up fr ur grave n started walking on earth again...haha....well, i wun call myself a zombie even thou i juz emerged fr under the tomb, im juz reborn.....keke...n i was sitting at the walkway area eating my old chang kee stuffs, when this pigeon started hanging ard me, eagerly looking for crumbs on the pavement..hey, i noe im a messy eater, but u dun have to tell me tt so directly rite? awww..i feel so sad...haha

i haven seen this lil' stingray b4...but i wasnt too happy seeing it for the first time, becos it was feeding on a dead fish...again pls!!! wisma staff, pls clean out ur aquarium, give the fish some vitamins if u wud...feed them properly...i noe itz a tough job to maintain such a huge aquarium, but since u have it in the first place, itz only right tt u carry out the riteful responsibilities....

i like this lil' fella, but cant get a gd snap at him...cos hez juz too fast a swimmer...haha...wat a cute baby!! hez always following another adult fish of another species...

fine, WATEVA!!!! i shall juz go on a hiking trip instead....while on the train, i tot: im too mad w someone to even have the mood to stand in the train all the way to bugis to start the hiking trip! y not i juz take to the (high)streets n do some (high)shopping? alrideee!!!! so i alighted at orchard n started my shopping day!!! yay!!! i culd juz buy some killer boots n throw them at him!! wahahaha.....alrite, not funny.....tooks some foto of the aquarium in wisma...gosh, i have got to scream out here in my blog: WAT THE HELL R U PPLE DOING TO THE POOR FISH?!!! many pple watching the fishes are so engrossed in watching the fish swim here n there n they are enjoying themselves watching the fish, but have any one of them realised tt most of the fish in tt aquarium, the largest outside of the underwater world in Sentosa, are act sick? even the shark in it has this unusual bulge under the chin....most of the diseases i spoted are the common ones caused by parasitic organisms,, the diseases include fin rot, skin rot, a couple have a fungus which causes cotton-like coating on the fins, some signs of spring virosis, open ulcers n such....pls!! im reaching out to the pple out there. If u happened to see this blog n u do noe tt this is happening, pls help the fish out by informing the staff members of wisma...thx!

Me n somebody meant to meet up 2dae, i was already so thrilled abt the ocassion tt i was simply tossing n turning on the bed n culdnt get myself to sleep...i last min invited him to my house to play, cos he has not been here for a long two years alrd...maybe can come n visit my lil fellas in the cage too...but he din show up last min...i was so low in spirit all of a suddenly....even sparky has to sleep juz to pass the time away, probably dreaming abt my fren coming to visit him....

so endearing...haha...act b4 this i haven seen her for abt 3mths...i was quite sad, bcos i tot she passed away.... haha...well, im not too sure where she went, but i saw a slight change in her fur on the right front leg..looks like an operation cut, but it was almost done healing, culd tell tt she was trying not to put any weight on tt leg as well...gave her a hug immediately...she muz have went thru all tt pain herself..muz have been really scared...but i thank whoever who has sent her for wateva operation tt was done on her...hope tt operation did her well

awww...shez the sweetest....xiao huang....she is juz so endearing...she juz wans to be ard u, n wans u to be ard her...n whenever u have to leave, the moment u get up, she will rub herself on ur shin, stepping all over ur feet, in attempt to stop u fr leaving..haha...aww...n if tt din work, she wud rush in front of u, n lie on the ground to block ur path, n if u ignore her, she wud repeat herself by juz lying in ur way!!! awww....if only i have such a boyfren...haha...she n i are very very close...always, when i go to the kopi tiam juz a few blocks away, she will rush towards me upon hearing my footsteps...haha...saves me the trouble of looking for her...haha...muackz**....ttz for u, my sweetie....

well, im not too sure abt the memorial to the civilian victims of the Jap occupation...i mean...y muz pple classify the victims under their race...there u have four diff races represented by those four peaks..n sth to link them together...but if u all tokking abt victims, and abt the pple, why even bother to separate them into groups in the first place? i mean everybody is equal, they all have souls n we place this memorial to remember tt they had sacrificed themselves during those days...if sg were to have more den 50 relatively major races, are pple gg to go abt creating 50 of those chopsticks? i dun tink so, i wud c the grp of victims as a whole 'entity'..they all had to suffer, they all been thru those pain n hardship, tt makes them one...

The road leads up to National Archives n Sg philatelic museum.... hmmm.... stamps? nahh...not today, i suppose...haha...juz across the road is the bible house n Asian Civilisations Museum at Armenian St....ahhh....immediately i was drawn across the street...haha....but hey...wait a sec....watz tt? wat in the world are those two egyptians doing out there in the sun?!!! hello!!!! u dun juz dump pple out there in the backyard juz bcos their exhibition was over?!!! As an Egyptology enthusiast, i was speechless when i saw this!!! Death shall come on swift wings to he who dares to put Egyptians statues in the backyard!!!! hmmm...but are those egyptian in nature? they look real likewise, but maybe they are not...wahahaha.....anyways, if they dun wan these statues anymore, i can always help to keep them, u noe....haha
